Those early days with a new baby are a blur in the very best (and most exhausting) way. Tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, that fresh baby smell you wish you could bottle forever—it all changes so quickly. Capturing this season matters, but how you choose to do it should feel just as natural as the moments themselves.
That’s why I offer a few different newborn session options—each designed to fit your style, your comfort level, and the story you want to tell.
Studio Newborn Sessions (Snuggly, Styled, and Stress-Free)
If you’re dreaming of those classic, sleepy newborn images—this is your session.
Studio newborn sessions take place in my light-filled Farmington studio, where everything is ready for you. I provide all the wraps, textures, and props, carefully chosen to keep the focus on your baby (not distractions). Think soft neutrals, cozy layers, and a clean, timeless look.
Your baby is gently guided into those curled-up, snuggly poses you love, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks as needed. Nothing is rushed—these sessions are calm, baby-led, and designed with comfort in mind.
Parents and siblings are always welcome to jump in for a few connection-filled images, too. Fur babies? They’re invited as well (because they’re family, obviously).
Best for: Families who love a polished, classic look with a little bit of everything—posed baby images and a few heartfelt family moments.
Lifestyle Newborn Sessions (Real Life, Right at Home)
If you’re drawn to a more natural, documentary feel—this might be your perfect fit.
Lifestyle newborn sessions take place in your home and focus on connection over perfection. There are no props or posed setups—just your family, your space, and the way this season really feels.
We’ll capture you snuggled up on the couch, baby in your arms, siblings peeking in, maybe even a quiet moment in the nursery. It’s relaxed, unhurried, and beautifully real.
Don’t worry if your home isn’t “Pinterest perfect.” All we need is a few areas with good natural light and neutral tones, and I’ll guide you the rest of the way.
Best for:Families who want authentic, storytelling images that reflect their everyday life and connection.
In-Home Snuggle + Propped Sessions (A Little Bit of Both)

Want the best of both worlds? This option blends the comfort of home with a touch of that styled newborn look.
I bring a curated selection of wraps, textures, and simple props to your home, so we can create a few softly posed images of baby—while still capturing those relaxed, in-between family moments.
It’s a beautiful balance of styled and natural, all without having to leave your house.
Best for: Families who love the idea of posed newborn images but prefer the convenience and comfort of staying at home.
When Should You Book?
The sweet spot for newborn sessions is typically 7–14 days after baby arrives, when they’re still extra sleepy and curl up naturally. The best way to plan ahead is to book during your pregnancy—I’ll hold your due date on my calendar, then we’ll finalize once baby is here.
Not Sure Which One to Choose?
You don’t have to decide right away.
Many families book first and choose their session style after baby arrives, once they know how they’re feeling and what kind of experience sounds best in that moment.
Because let’s be real—those first couple of weeks? You’re in survival mode with a side of baby snuggles. We’ll keep things flexible.

The Heart Behind It All
No matter which session you choose, the goal is the same: to preserve this fleeting season in a way that feels true to your family.
Whether it’s softly posed, beautifully styled, or completely unfiltered and real—you’ll walk away with images that take you right back to these first days.
And years from now, when that tiny newborn is running around your house, you’ll have something tangible to hold onto.
And trust me—you’re going to want that.
