Over the past 13 years, I’ve built my business from scratch, found my signature style, and gained hundreds of family photo clients who come back to me year after year! When I was starting out, I didn’t know anything about the business. I knew I loved photography. I would ask the few photographers I knew question after question about how to get started - I’d ask anything, from websites to locations to social media. It was tricky wading into these uncharted waters by myself, piecing together my business framework and finding clients. Looking back, I wish I had had access to a photography mentor - someone who had knowledge to share with my specific interests in mind - also someone who would cheer me on as I went and hold me accountable for setting goals! As my business has grown, I've come to realize that I love to share my knowledge and help other photographers as they work to build and grow their business. We all have to start somewhere and it can be comforting to have someone in your corner rooting for you!!
